Freeflow Construction is an innovative, open-minded residential contracting service specializing in the construction of sustainable and self-powered homes that are made from natural and non-toxic materials.

We build with adobe, autoclaved concrete (Aerblock^tm), post and beam/timber frame, cob and light clay, and strawbale.

We strongly encourage the incorporation of solar-generated electricity and hot water, rainwater harvesting, greywater usage, and minimal site disturbance into all of our builds.

Passive solar design is the key theme in ALL of our buildings. There is no better way to naturally and affordably reduce heating and cooling loads and moderate the interior comfort of a home than by implementing an effective passive solar design. Less time worrying about your energy bills and how to reduce them or pay for them equals more peaceful time for yourself and your family, not to mention a significant reduction in your carbon footprint.

Freeflow Construction also creates green remodels out of homes constructed by conventional methods. Whether it is a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or living area that you want to recreate, we will turn it into an aesthetically pleasing, peaceful, and non-toxic environment.

We are committed to using non-toxic sealers, paints, and plasters. When applicable, we strongly encourage the use of earthen plasters and floors. Where some VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content is unavoidable, we try to limit its use to exterior applications that outgas to the outside of the home and do not affect indoor living quality.
